Liddell's of Auchinleck may be selling a range of ex London buses, including Volvo B10M Citybuses from the 24, 133/196 and 176.

For the ex London buses list I have compiled in the London bus files section of the forum, does anyone happen to know what happened to VLP18-20/26? Last I can find of them was when they ended up at Chartwell Bus Sales in 2018... Also does anyone happen to know where hybrid VLPs 45253/45254 have ended up going off to?

Out of interest how is the progress on 9718 going? It's fine - in good working order It has a twin sister which is being upgraded to comply with PSVAR. It needs a couple of grabrails and a couple of bell pushes upstairs then it should be good to go after a bit of sprucing up. If TA9 is sold for breaking I'd hope to be given a chance to buy some bits first, especially the engine if it's still good.

Don’t suppose you know anyone who wants a Connex destination blind by any chance lol.

If it's labelled Trident Nov 99 Non DDA I'll buy it! londonbusesbyadam.zenfolio.com/p855322203/hBA24748#hba24748Abellio had loads stashed away until about a month ago. Hundreds of sets dating from 1998 to near present day. One day at the end of my shift I put the Connex ones I wanted together then spent months trying to get permission to buy or take them, with no success. I finally did get the green light - after the clearout happened! Think they got binned when the garage needed the space for something else!

Sadly, it's a DDA one, likely 2001 set for a Y or 51 reg TA - I brought it ages ago on eBay but it's taking up some room and I'd like to see it end up in a bus rather than sitting in someone else's home.

Abellio walworth had a MIGHTY bus room. I take it that is the one being spoken about here. Believe it or not, i got permission first time around to ‘fill my boots’. So i currently have a tonne of smartblinds from various garages which were stashed in the room under hundreds of blinds and boxes. Sadly, I wasn’t informed of them soon to be chucked out, so I have none of the old Travel London ones, or connex ones You're lucky you got that offer! I had a feeling it was going to be cleared out as a couple of months ago there were some changes to the walking areas in the shed and the room next door had been done up. Sure thing, two weeks later and the room had (mostly) been cleared out. There was one corner they didn't quite get and some of the blinds there were Connex. None of the original non-DDA Trident blinds though sadly. Other garages have a much more lean operation - I've been around and there's nothing of interest left at BC or QB.

On my list it shows 2 Y reg ones have actually escaped scrap (so far) with 9732/9738 both still with The Green Bus, Birmingham, who also own 9724 and a couple 51 regs. I so far haven't bumped into any 51 regs being preserved as I've been doing research on that batch recently for the list and bar a few survivors here and there most are scrapped.

Yes TA32 and 38 are still in good nick. In addition, TA23, 43, 48 and 60 are also shown in TGB's fleetlist. They may have some more that are withdrawn or for imminent scrap. The Birmingham Clean Air Zone may mean these buses won't be around much longer so now might be a good time to put in an offer if interested.
As for later examples, I'm not sure if any were preserved. A few 51 plates went to The Green Bus, at least one to Peoplesbus, one became a party bus and may still be around, one was parked up in a yard in Central but I think most were scrapped. More 02/52 plates may have survived.

More 02/52 plates may have survived. Later batches I have managed to complete on my list on the forum - of the LG52xxx ones I could only trace 9819/9825 to new owners - with 9814/9815/9826 definitely scrapped and the rest unknown (So most likely also scrapped or sat parked up somewhere like Chartwell Bus Sales). More of the Armchair KN52xxx ones have survived - of course 9831/9838 were destroyed by fires so have long since been scrapped. 9835-9837/9840-9843 are with Newport Bus in Wales and 9830/9832-9834/9839 are owned by Dawsons Rentals and are open top - they were last used by London City Tours but they ceased operations in late 2018 so presumably are still parked up at Dawsons or scrapped. I haven't got around to doing research on the KU02xxx or KV02xxx batch yet - but I believe a majority of them are still around. Of the YN51xxx ones 9746 also still exists with Peoplesbus and 9770 is a play bus up in Birmingham - the rest ended up at Chartwell sales after withdrawal in 2016/2017 - but theres no trace since so presumably scrapped or still sitting there. But I tell you what these ex Abellio ALX400s have been a pain to trace - as some have seemingly just disappeared after London service. As of yet I haven't found evidence of preserved ones - but of course one may be privately owned somewhere as a lot are not accounted for anywhere (Note all information I have given can also be found on my ex London Buses List in the London Bus Files section of the forum if you are interested )
