Stumbled across this on Flickr, and judging by the length, seating and age of the bus, it's an ex. London United VA registered 02D102370 and owned by Dublin Mini Coaches but no clues to its former identity. Ironic that Dublin Bus are selling off similar buses (but these are longer and older) yet an operator in Dublin runs an ex London example! Photo by Darren Hall on Flickr. Ex VA294 according to comments on other photos

Former London United / East Thames Buses MCW Metrobus M1010, A710 THV is still earning its keep over on the island of Gozo with City Sightseeing, now registered COY 016. Also sporting a more modern radiator grill. Think I prefer the more retro looking radiator grills though!

CityTransportInfo is one of my favourite YouTubers and recently a video was posted on Buses in East London during the 1990s. The video features Leyland National's and Leyland Olympian's. I found the video very interesting (as per usual) and thought it be a nice trip down memory lane...

Was onboard Southern Vectis' former London Central PVL252, PL51 LDN yesterday on route 7 between Newport and Alum Bay. It still plays its 'Bus stopping, stand well clear of doors' audible warning despite the centre doors only being used for wheelchair access. It put up quite a spirited ride charging round some of the tight, narrow country lanes, hitting 40 down some of them and being thrown about like being on a fairground ride was quite hair raising at times!

I had PVL252 today on route 5 from Newport to East Cowes! I heard the "Please stand clear of the doors" announcement but if the centre doors are not for use except by the disabled, they may as well take them out. PVL252 was a really nice bus. Where was this based when it was in London?

Former London Central DMS4, T104KGP, is parked behind the old "Standard" pub opposite Blackhorse Road station. No idea why it's there but spotted this morning.

Hope someone preserves this beast - apparently, one has been preserved into LBL London General livery.
