It was brought for preservation when it was sold and was meant to be restored to the yellow & blue livery. Your now likely to be having a shave with this bus..... sadly scrapped. It was to be preserved as I helped get it out of Croydon Depot but due to finances and the cost of repairs to the knackered engine was too much for the owner to do and he then decided to scrap it. That's sad to hear. I was looking forward to see it being finished... I thought 334 had a new engine fitted by the owner since it was only withdrawn because it had an engine failure. |

It's been reported that ex-Go Ahead's LDP1 is entering preservation and will be going back to London red. It's hoped that it will be ready for the next Showbus.

PVL156 and PVL157 were very nippy buses and were great alternatives to drive if no PDL Tridents were available in time for my night spells.

It certainly does. I am astounded it hasn't rusted away to dust given its age. It's been very well looked after and a steal for £6.5k. I'd be tempted to buy it if I could drive it.  |
