Interesting to see the 'E Bay' add; under 'Manufacturer' it states: 'London Routemaster Bus'

I notice the seller of 9814 can't decide what gearbox it has - it's a 5 spd ZF if anyone is interested. I didn't understand their description of it either.

Former Tower Transit's 44222 YX12 AZA, 44313 YX12 AAJ, 44323 YX12 AVJ and 44326 YX12 reported over the weekend at Southampton docks awaiting export, presumably destined for New Zealand.

If I remember correctly this was the Trident retrofitted with a four speed Voith box, its original being the three speed variant.

Probably already mentioned but former Abellio's Y reg Trident 9737 has been scrapped following accident damage. Sad end to a beast of a bus - I'd heard there was some fire damage a few weeks ago so didn't have high hopes of it making a comeback. Happy memories of fully blowing out its cobwebs on a little while back. It went really well, especially with use of the gear buttons. Like 9757, it had a habit of chewing through gearboxes which wasn't a good thing!

I wonder if it's in part to do with them being long wheelbase, thus a bit more capacity. Hopefully they'll become more mighty machines under their new owners.

Ex CT Plus EO1 is now with Panther Travel in Essex and also the number plate has been registered as VB08PAN.

This is the most suitable thread to ask, but what ever happened to the MCL's that use to run on route X26 when it was operated by Quality Line ?
