Just seen the below on Ebay
This looks immaculate internally - was this bus refurbished very late in its London life? I know some buses are withdrawn if leased but its a shame a bus in this condition was withdrawn compared to some that are running around which are looking very run down. I did hear a remark from a passenger on the 241 the other day saying how dirty the bus was (It wasn't it was the fact the seating was faded and flat)

It has now been re registered LXI 8751 (I think) This and WVL213 I believe are with Meritrule, also known as hireyourtransport, they have a fair little collection of ex GAL WVLs, I believe they have WVL19 (However was recently for sale on ebay), WVL35, WVL44, WVL49 and WVL112, I believe they also have ex RATP TA249/316, ex Abellio 9772 and ex GAL 216 as well

Went past Blackhorse Rd yesterday for the first time in a while. Former London Central DMS4 (Dart / Marshall) is no longer parked in a corner in a car park. The car park (not the tube station car park but behind the former Standard pub) was empty so looks like the facility is closing down. No idea where it has gone but it looks like another phase of demolition is imminent so more hideous shoddily built blocks of flats can be built.

I hope (but don’t expect) that those concrete lampposts at Blackhorse Road Station are retained.

Ex Arriva London DW10 and DW31 are still alive...just! Just seen photos of them on Facebook are with Coach Hire Executive of Freckleton, Preston however they appear to be spares donors to keep DW1, DW17 and DW39 going up there. DW10 is in a rather sorry state, and moss is starting to form on the side as it has not been in service since October 2014 but is blinded for “412 Streatham”. However, whilst parts are missing from the bus, it appears to be undergoing a single door conversion so may be back out on the road soon. DW31 on the other hand is less fortunate, it’s basically being used as a skip as there are parts strewn all over it, such as loose seats and wheels. It’s also still blinded for route 629 They also have VLW170 amongst their fleet.
I’d always thought that DW10 would have been scrapped by now considering it hasn’t been used on the roads since 2014 and there was no trace of it anywhere, so when I saw these photos I was a little shocked I must admit. Not sure what became of DW9 but I think that was stripped at Ensigns before being sold for scrap, similar to DW3

Looks like former AL DW27 has seen the last of its days after a fire today:
