Looks like former AL DW27 has seen the last of its days after a fire today: Very rare to see a DB250 fire compared to past incidents with the Trident and B7TL classes.

Looks like former AL DW27 has seen the last of its days after a fire today: Sad to see DW27 go out like this. I remember getting it quite a lot on the 466, and I got it when it returned in September 2014 from a 7 month VOR, I think due to an engine failure. Would have thought the new engine gave up in spectacular fashion but turns out it was the electrics that started the fire. Last I had it was in May 2015 I think. Glad to hear nobody was injured though

Mightily fine bus that. My very last memory of the Trident Alexander at Abellio was in the front seat of this bus dropping it back to where it all began at BC after the Tramlink replacement job. The saloon lights may have been knackered the last few trips to and from Addington but the engine was amazing! Somewhat remarkable that the Euro 2s outlived the Euro 3s with the firm but these buses were strong! Even now, drivers and engineers speak very fondly of the V platers. Here's hoping it goes to a good home and not the scrappies like its sisters

I was going to say that DLA349 was selling rather cheap compared to previous euro3 DB250s for sale but then read that it has a levelling valve fault.

Two Tridents without blinds heading north on the M11 this morning.
One under its own steam and the other on tow.
