TfL have announced that the first stage of the gyratory changes come into effect this weekend on Sunday 30th June. Press ReleaseThis means an end to the "loopy" workings around Tottenham Green on route 341 so go for a spin while you have a chance this week. It'll be interesting to see how well the traffic adjusts to the new "through route" and what the balance of traffic light time will be at the Broad Lane / Seven Sisters Rd / West Green Rd junction by the tube station.

Great! It will take a while for people to adjust. Will we be able to turn right onto Philip Lane?

Great! It will take a while for people to adjust. Will we be able to turn right onto Philip Lane? Yes I think that will be enabled with this phase for all traffic, not just buses. The next phase is to make Monument Way bi-directional which means a lot of changes close to T Hale but the works are well under way with the traffic islands etc all being removed. Thus far they seem to have been quite clever in getting the work done with relatively low levels of disruption. At the end of the year the work on the bus station changes at T Hale itself start. It will be interesting to see what happens to the 41 and 192. I imagine the 123 and 230 will just run past around the amended one way system. Of course they have to do this at the darkest, wettest, coldest and most awful time of year thus making interchange a complete nightmare.

I'm guessing the 192 will continue NIS to turn at the W4 stand down on Ferry Lane estate (like it did previously when the bus station was closed for works).
