I know its not London Buses related. Have anyone ever been on the open top buses in London? For me i haven't been on one because we could only afford using London Buses as our sightseeing choice.

I would say that it is London Bus related as you are talking about open-top services in London.
I must admit I have not used any of the commercial tourist services over the years (Big Bus, London Pride etc.) but looking back at my images of DMSes and RMs and even Atlanteans I wish I had!
If and when I wanted to look at something I have always used the normal bus network or used the travelcard tourist route the 11. IIRC I even bought a book once called 'top deck tourist' or similar all about how to get the best sightseeing wise (and for visiting places) by normal buses - that was 1993 or similar I think.

I haven't used an open top bus tour but have thought about doing it just to see what it was like. This is partly because some sightseeing routes run over routes that no TfL bus does. Also on the affordability question don't forget that some of the Arriva "T" feeder routes do offer cash fares for normal, non sightseeing passengers so you can travel on an open top bus for some journeys for a couple of quid.
