Referring to the original Circle Line which doesn't include Hammersmith-Edgware Road, what is the fewest number of buses one would need to take to complete the Circle?

Referring to the original Circle Line which doesn't include Hammersmith-Edgware Road, what is the fewest number of buses one would need to take to complete the Circle? 205 Paddington - Edgware Rd - Baker St - Great Portland Street - Euston Square - Kings Cross St Pancras 63 kings Cross - Farringdon - (Ludgate Circus) 4 (Ludgate Circus) - Barbican 153 Barbican - Moorgate - Liverpool Street Walk 42 / 78 Liverpool Street - Aldgate - Tower Hill Walk 15 Tower Hill - Monument - Cannon Street - Mansion House 388 Mansion House - Blackfriars Walk 11 (Ludgate Circus) - Aldwych for Temple - Charing Cross Station for Embankment - Westminster - Victoria St for St James Park - Victoria - Sloane Square - (Kings Road) 49 (Kings Road) - South Kensington - Gloucester Road - High St Kensington Walk 70 (Kensington Church St) - Notting Hill Gate - Bayswater - (Westbourne Grove) 23 / 27 (Westbourne Grove) - Paddington. A walk is necessary at certain points to get between stops e.g. Liverpool St. Similarly there is no longer a TfL bus service that stops at Temple or Embankment. The 388 did do this when Blackfriars Stn was being rebuilt. Stops in brackets are places to interchange between services where there is not a common stop at a station. Others may be able to plot a better route.

Thank you snoggle. Very informative. I would guess between 3.00 and 3.25 hours for the entire circle

Thank you snoggle. Very informative. I would guess between 3.00 and 3.25 hours for the entire circle Depends entirely on the traffic conditions and diversions and road works. If you were going to do it quickly I'd probably suggest a Saturday morning. Most services are as frequent as M-F but traffic is much lower and the City much less congested. The only risk is roadworks / crane operations / special events causing diversions and traffic jams.
