TfL's own view of how well things are going from their Traffic News update - this is one of two "serious impact" incidents.
A quick look at TfL Live Bus Arrivals shows the 123 as a disaster area - short turns at Tottenham and Gants Hill on Ilford bound journeys, 24 minute gaps between buses. 17-18 min gaps in the other direction. 20 and 26 minute gaps on the 230 with quite severe bunching in other places. The W4 looks like a disaster too.
2013-10-21 (16:19) : A10 High Road (Tottenham) now has a two way traffic flow in effect between Tottenham High Road, Monument Way and Broad Lane, after completion of a new scheme. Hale Road has also been converted to two-way traffic flow. Approach the new road layout with caution. Lane restrictions are in place and with temporary traffic signals in use on Monument Way and Hale Road. Traffic is slow moving on approaches with queues on the A10 reaching Bruce Grove southbound and St Anns Road northbound. Sevens Sisters Road is slow moving northbound from Moreton Road. Westbound traffic on Hale Road is also slow with tailbacks along Watermead Way. Expect delays.
