hello,
Was standing at a bus stop the other day and happened to look at the date of the bus timetable in the stop for route 404. Noticed that the date was 13.08.00!
13 years without a change!!
What do you think has been the longset time since a timetable has been changed? With route number.
Any routes beat 13 years?

I have to say that is a long time and I was surprised to see that. Robert Munster and Michael Clary maintain a Timetable Graveyard which keeps copies of old timtables for TfL routes going back about 12-15 years. The 404 certainly has not had any variants in that time according to the website. I suspect that it would have to be low frequency, short local routes that have not had operator changes that have unchanged timetables. That rules out a lot of the TfL network.

Very good question! Since 2000, even the way TfL depicts timetables has changed!

To this day there are still a few of the old style timetable showing times at principal stops for the whole route in use!

Sorry to drag this off topic briefly, but does anyone find the old style more intuitive to use, and useful in the information shown? I like the fact that Londonbusroutes.net keeps the old style going; when you look at how the layout developed of the timetables the last one to show fare zones and the one just after seem to be the pinnacle of clarity.
