I guess I should give my own suggestions given I started the thread. No great surprises but I'd nominate the 5 and 279 in North / East London and the 237 in West London. The 237 is usually tremendously busy with frequent stops so could be a good candidate. Finally! a route in my part of the world suggested! I would also like to add 57, 81, 111 (would struggle in Hampton though), 120, 213, 222, 235, 281, 285, 371, H32, N9 (could use day allocation) and finally R70! (all of AVs normal double deck routes, plus the busiest buses I can think of in my area)

I'm sure they would be just fine for the 267, 349, E8, 243, 217, 34 or 112

(all of AVs normal double deck routes, plus the busiest buses I can think of in my area) 111 - I wouldn't like to see it go round Nurserylands *tight* - thus asking the same from the R70. 371 - Petersham is the problem here. SPs are a tight squeeze, so if anyone tried an NBfL, expect it to clog the route for eternity as it gets stuck! H32 - unsure about the turns on Convent Way lol 237 isn't a bad idea, seeming as it's practically straight for most of the route, Hounslow Heath might be a small problem, but doesn't seem that bad. The route is also excessively slow at times (and not due to loadings!) N9 - nice idea, not much wrong with it, but AV is practically full, so it needs night routes to keep the garage from looking like an overloaded parking lot at night! That's why it runs night 27. But NBfLs in Hounslow Bus Stn would be odd when the garage is practically full, so extend all service to Heathrow T5? (but it might remove the late finish it usually has due to it not being at AV) 140 would be an idea - heavy loadings, frequent stops, but Hayes might let it down due to tight turns. And how it'd turn at Harrow Weald.

Anybody worrying about open platforms on fast roads... I wouldn't worry too much. As they are doing the 8/148 without CA's I don't think any outer London route would get them! Anybody worrying about fare evasion on a particular route... I wouldn't worry too much about that either. It will happen on ANY route they are put on. I know W/SW London best so I'll nominate routes 85 (might struggle around Alton Estate), 220 (as far as I know should be OK but I never go north of Shepherd's Bush on it) and 345 (always busy and roads would not be an issue)

I nominate route 69 - I think 3 door boarding would help this busy route at places such as Stratford and Leyton.

The 484 would be perfect But seriously...What about the 208? That's a VERY popular bus. It would look quite nice in Bromley. My other nominations are routes 12, 96, 136, and 259.

130, 227, 358 & P5 are my candidates - now I wonder why lol. Would need a single deck version for the 227 LOL but a few run into the Shortlands bridge would make them look better LOL
