Routes 135, 225 and D7!! Although there is two low bridges on the 225 in Deptford and New Cross which is the problem. And the turn into East Ferry Road is tight for 135.

65 would be a nice route for the New Routemasters - very scenic. 210 (though it does have a few tight turns). 313

Here's an interesting one - How about the Route 21? The City area might be a bit difficult, but the rest will work out fine.
Another easy one to convert would be the 129. It'd be nice seeing these in Greenwich. Although converting this may kill off any chances of an extension westbound.

If the proposal for 129's extension was successful and the route is extended, it would most likely require single deckers. Unless the route gets re-routed somewhere where there is no restrictions.

You can keep your knackered WVL's sir they can be good when the engineers look at them. They were terrible from the day they were built, Despite me being a big Volvo Fan (No Pun Intended) fitting a 215 D7C to a 3 speed Voith was not a good choice especially when Go-Ahead seem to restricted them!!! Some of the 3 speed B7TLs I have driven in my time have been pretty nippy up the hills, despite only having 215 horses. I believe the torque was tweaked up (or not tweaked down) on buses like PVL69, PVL77, PVL127, PVL131, PVL137 and PVL156 and a number of early WVLs. It's only a pity they didn't have 'proper' kickdowns to push the engine revvs up to 2200. As it goes some of their Voiths didn't even have intelligent kickdown working, resulting in the gears changing up too early on the incline.

A Google search brought up this report which gives a rough overview of transport issues in and around New Cross. The 129 is shown on page 62 as well as a mention about possibly running the 199 via Convoys Wharf. The study is pretty old so I imagine present ideas may well differ from back then. The Convoys Wharf developer has promised funding for "a bus service" but TfL decide how to spend the S106 funding contribution in conjunction with the local council.

The PVL's always have and still do feel faster and just better in general
