Just done the 107 and 307 end-to-end this morning for fun. Took the 107 from Edgware to New Barnet, then walked back to Barnet Hospital and took the 307 to Brimsdown. Both very scenic routes, really enjoyed them. To experience the true "old 107 longest bus route in London" you should really have done the 288 from Queensbury to Edgware and then the 107. It used to be Queensbury to Brimsdown in the early 80s when I first arrived in London. Clearly the 107 has a long history and has been varying lengths. I like both the 107 and 307 when you get to see some greenery.

Then again it doesn't come as a surprise as alot of bus routes used be really long.

I always remember it because I had a leaflet with some LT facts on it (for the 1980s) and the 107 was listed as longest bus route at 22 miles long. Funny how things stick in your head even 30 years on!

Today, I did the 152, 201, K1, K2, K4 & K5 end to end - all done between 13:30 & 21:00.
The 201 was hell today and I got turned at Mitcham.
The K5 goes through some nice areas but it is very long. Still, nice to be sitting on a Solo.
The K2 was interesting as it has a short fast section from Tolworth to the industrial estate just outside Hook.
The K4 was confusing in the Mansfield Park area, runs down so many back roads just to reach the main road.
The K1 was another one that delved down many back roads - it even had a hail & ride section that seemed to go on forever!
The 152 was as good as ever - love that fast section from Raynes Park to the A3.

I'd get sick of going around in circles in the Kingston/Tolworth areas. I personally also don't like doing one whole route, then going back via that sane route again (unless its just a few stops). I always have to get a different bus after another to keep it fun(ish). But how did you do it? You must have has to get the K3 to Esher and get the same route back to Kingston Hospital to get the K2/K4. Then do either the K2 or K4 back to the hospital to do the other route again (e.g. K4 back and forth, then the K2).

Yesterday, I did the 173 & 309 end to end. I also did the 5 end to end but I already did that a few years back and I also did the full 248 & 252 routes on T1 & RTL453. I also rode the 165, 173 & 309 for the first time ever.

Did the 391 end-to-end today in the form of a DD. Also did the Kingston to Richmond section if the 65 for the first time. I would have taken a 371 end-to-end but there were no DDs due at Kingston, so I chose the 65 instead. I was quite tempted to do the whole 65 route, but was put off by all the traffic in Kingston and Richmond. The 65 & 391 were interesting routes. I rarely ever to this side of London. Makes a nice change to the boring South-London scenery. Also, whilst I was outside Richmond Station, I saw Johnny Vegas. I didn't expect to see him casually walking around trying to get a taxi haha. I also managed to get a selfie with him real quick as he was in a rush

I have just done the 412 end to end this evening on DW98. It is a really nice route with beautiful scenery on the climb towards Selsdon. Unfortunately at the end of the route, the driver turned off the lights and didn't know me and my brother were on the bus when it was turning to go to the stand at Purley. Fortunately he let us off, and we really enjoyed the ride

Did the full route of 74 and 201 and part-route of 2, 93 and 453. Thanks for reminding me lol. During the week, I did the 137 & 453 end to end - got stuck in endless amounts of traffic on the 453!!! Today, I did the 282, 331, U1, U9 & U10 end to end and rode the 222 for the first time. 331 & U9 were fun and the U10 is a very interesting routing especially at Ickenham down the narrow roads.
