I did the full route of E3 today (my second time on the route). What a brilliant route, it provides such an view natural scenery and suburban living. The SPs are utilized to their best potential on the route. Definitely one of my best bus journeys to date. I'm glad I finally had the spare time to take a garner into outer West London.
I did the full route of E1. I love its new E400Hs. Abellio's new (14 reg) ones are the best ones in London currently. They are quick, the interior is striking. I was surprised how short the route is and how many back roads it goes through for a double decker route.

The Stagecoach ones on the 54 & 75 are just as quick, the Euro VI Enviro 400H's are defiantly miles better than the boring Euro V ones.

The Euro V ones seem smoother to me. And they're quieter like a hybrid bus should be. The Euro VI ones are too loud, and sounds like it's struggling when travelling at high speeds. It's just too weird for my liking.

When I was on the 8 today, the bus just sounded like it was revving a lot when it was going quite fast. Come to think of it...It might have been the bus slowing down slightly to build up energy. I know that hybrid buses do that kind of thing.

Go Thornton Heath, Peckham or Harlesden and then tell me that Roehampton is scary. The bit around Danebury Avenue is scary. Its literally just acres of estate blocks. North Peckham is quite scary too, bus other parts of it (like Peckham Rye, Nunhead) aren't that bad. I haven't been to Thornton Heath or Harlesden. Although I wouldn't have thought Harlesden is that bad.
