Not wishing to be devil's advocate, but... 1) that's a web page that isn't exactly going to ever praise anything Boris related if it can possibly help it 2) those that dislike are far more likely to shout louder. My main hobby is playing music (that's right, buses come second ), and the times you have to deal with people in groups who dislike music choices! Those who don't mind/like the music choices tend to stay quiet, on the whole. I think you all know my opinion : the LT is, I think, a pretty, well-riding vehicle with heat issues that can overwhelm it. But anyway, back to the 9 - I'm going to have my final ride today I've still planned for tomorrow to ride the 9H, thinking whether to start at the Central London end or the Royal Albert Hall end - decisions, decisions lool.

Kensington High St (Addison Road) not the Albert Hall. Just round the corner from Kensington Olympia Station.

Does anybody know if there are any unofficial, actual Heritage vehicles shadowing the final services. I haven't heard of anything official, but it would be a nice tribute..

Well, I had a very nice ride on the 9 today. Went east to west, on RM1562. Goodbye, RMs on the 9 *sob*

Did the conductors get TUPE'd to London united ?

Why would they? The 9H was a totally separate contract which has ended. TUPE doesn't apply in this case.

My understanding was they will pool the best ones together from both batches 15 and sell what's left.
I will miss the crews on the 9H, had many a nice journey home passing the time having a natter with the conductors, a lot of them had been on the job donkeys years.
