Bus daily and weekly capping now live

In a surprise announcement TfL have said that daily and weekly (Mon - Sun) capping for contactless payment card (CPC) users is now live for buses. Really surprised this has gone live now given the media info for the next stage of CPC validity (TfL rail services) was so mangled and wasn't clear whether bus capping was included.

Still I guess it makes life easier for some people - once they work out they have a compatible payment card.

It's good to see NFC use increase a little more now in the UK. In China, you can pay with NFC at vending machines! I have NFC on my phone, but I've never needed to use it. If I move to EE, then maybe I'll have a use for it
