Since the recent withdrawal of TA1 from service, EXCLUDING the Heritage Routemasters, what is the oldest bus currently operating in London?

Since the recent withdrawal of TA1 from service, EXCLUDING the Heritage Routemasters, what is the oldest bus currently operating in London? TfL wise, the K1's V reg MPD would be the oldest. That said, Arriva have S reg Trainer DLA's & London United have N reg Volvo Olympians for private hire & rail replacement work. Otherwise, the next oldest is any Routemaster operated by the tour operators such as the Ghost Bus tour. If you want to exclude all Routemasters, then the Big Bus Company & the Original Tours ex Hong Kong buses should be the oldest full stop.

Well for the oldest buses in original condition, GAL have a random selection of vintage (hipster buses? ) PVL's that get wheeled out from time to time, with the old logo's, and vomit inspired seat moquette. PVL's 113,151 and 203 spring to mind and some random one from Q that has an SW code on it. There's also a training bus that has a weird mix of both the old LC/LG logo's on it.

On June 28th I saw PVL 66 and PVL69 on route 154. They had both been refurbished, and were covering for DOEs. I reckon these are the odest double-deckers (apart from RMs) available for regular service. That is, unless they are or have just been replaced by Es off route 453.

PVL66 & 69 were refurbed a good 5 years ago for school work at BE's.

I'm sure they were refurbished for BE as BE won a few school routes and W reg PVL's were sent there which got a 2nd refurb during their lifetime.

I agree - their condition was way beyond the state you see on other older PVLs run by Go Ahead London. At a minimum they were certainly repainted and given a "refresh". Compare PVL66 with the state PVL113 was in before its demise.
