so I decided to make a playlist of songs that mention buses or routes for no other reason apart from the fact I'm a big music fan and I was bored. If you want to check it out or have got any suggestions it's here. Wot, no "National Express" by The Divine Comedy? The song doesn't just mention a bus, it's about one! I didn't add it as it's a coach service. Although greyhound is also a coach service so will add it to the list now.

Are there any bus routes that remind you of certain songs just generally?
An example I have is OutKast - Ms Jackson reminding me of the 191, maybe it's because there was an FRV done on it with that song, but like the message of the song, the 191 has quite a number of twists and turns and could generally be considered quite complicated.

The 42 reminds me of West End Girls by the Pet Shop Boys - a Titan crossing Tower Bridge appears in the music video working the route.

Probably most of what Eminem does could be considered good music in my opinion, however Lose Yourself holds a special place in my heart. That song gives me the chills every time I listen to it

Dreams 7. The Verve. Lucky Man 6. Radiohead. Karma Police 5. Fleetwood Mac. The Chain 4. The Eagles. Desperado 3. Metallica. Nothing else matters 2.Talking Head. Road to nowhere. 1. Pink Floyd. Wish you were here george – belatedly seen your post and it’s a really cool list… A few comments if I may: 12.Rolling Stones. Gimme Shelter – Possibly the greatest rock song? – if not, certainly my vote for the best start to a track 10. The Moody Blues. Question – Hugely under-rated 6. Radiohead. Karma Police “For a minute there / I lost myself, I lost myself…” amazing song (and album) During lockdown some friends and I all independently devised our “Top 100 songs” lists (but not in order) and shared / compared them – there was a twist in that each artist could only appear once on the list…the song that kept appearing was Curtis Mayfield’s “Move On Up”.

Wow 100 song list that's pretty impressive. I'd probably make a few changes to the list now for example prefer "talking about a revolution" Tracy Chapman and would probably put "idiotque" by Radiohead on there but that's a real love it or hate it song I think. Thom Yorke has very powerful and meaninful lyrics in songs that's for sure.

It features the lyric "Seen too much of Brixton town in the night". It no longer needs to, having been withdrawn from Brixton.
