Two more songs have been released from the upcoming Duran Duran album and like 'Pressure Off', they sound really good. Cant wait for this album to drop - You Kill Me With Silence - Paper Gods

And on Dr Snoggle's late night viewing / listening list tonight are The perils of finding one video clip and then searching right through the full list from that record company.

Massive thumbs from me on most of those clips especially Duran Duran, Power Station & Tori Amos with that massive 90's tune - that song brings back memories of growing up Not sure if you know (you probably do but hey) but the video version of 'My Own Way' is not the same as the album version which has a slower tempo - www.youtube.com/watch?v=G1awxNDK1w0

Unfortunately because of the impact of Yewtree banishing episodes fronted by DLT / Saville you often get the same songs two weeks running. Oh and Don't You Want Me by the Human League is number 1. Bizarrely because of showing two episodes most weeks plus the Yewtree effect we are at Dec 1981 despite it only being June 2016! Next Friday BBC4 are doing a look ahead at 1982 followed by an hour of clips from 1982's hits - should be brilliant.

My first time posting on this thread, my taste of music generally focuses on mostly pop, sometimes R&B mostly focuses on music produced in the late 90s to the early 2000s era, I don't generally have a favourite band or artist but I generally like quite a few songs from selected bands or artists such as "Blue", also really liked listening to Whitney Houston, here are a few examples of some of my favourite songs that I listen to a lot: youtu.be/1cQ9gNGNsDwyoutu.be/GFGPSx6cPN0youtu.be/WbrSLLv0AlA Enjoy

A bit of a thread resurrection: but for those who like classic soul as I do, today is a sad day - the great Aretha Franklin has passed away aged 76. RIP 🙁

Might I be permitted to mention to anyone checking out YouTube for her marvellous performances to also look out for those of her elder sister Erma Franklin, long dead unfortunately, but another fine singer, with a subtler voice than her sister's.

I've had 2 big reminders of Little Mix members this week. Boxing Day was Jade's birthday, and I spent Friday night in LeighAnne's home turf of High Wycombe.

Not upto date on the modern music scene as I like too much 'Classic Rock'...
But came across this the other day....very classic sounding...of one 'classic' rock band in particular that you may get straight away when he starts singing....
will have to check out the album

Well, since this thread has been revived, I might aswell share my music preferences. I really like the UK rap scene and there are also plenty of grime and drill songs I like too. I'll suggest some of my all time favourite songs from those 3 if you guys are interested (and yes there is swearing): UK rap: Dave - Funky Friday ft. Fredo youtu.be/Pxns_n9q0f4Grime: Wiley - Call the shots ft. JME (a bit older but I don't like grime as much) youtu.be/QnQSjLb-OxcUK Drill: AM, Skengdo, Chief Keef - Pitbulls youtu.be/GsXJ1td4lOE
