London Travelwatch are launching a new online user group for bus passengers. Text below from their newsletter (seen on the londons transport yahoo group).
"Join our London bus users online community!
After a great ‘Year of the Bus’ promoted by TfL, London TravelWatch is establishing an online community for London bus users. As the statutory consumer body representing the interests of passengers in and around London, we want to ensure that bus users have a voice in maintaining and improving services. This new online community will inform and engage Londoners when changes are proposed to routes they regularly use. Our online bus community members will also have the opportunity to hear about issues relating to London’s bus system as a whole and we will be sending out monthly updates to those interested. If you would like to sign up to this online community and receive information on bus issues and updates for your route and routes throughout the capital, please go to:
<https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/LondonBusWatch>
Please note: this will not replace the normal complaints process. If you have a complaint about a bus service you must go to Transport for London first <https://custserv.tfl.gov.uk/icss_csip/resetSession2.do?Standalone=yes&showmodulename=false>
and then if you are not satisfied you may contact us as an appeal
<http://www.londontravelwatch.org.uk/complaints/appealing_london_travelwatch>."
I've just done the survey which is simple and straightforward and asks you to nominate the routes you use most plus a few personal details and additional questions about how you'd like to be involved.
Could be an interesting thing to be involved in.
