Condolences go out to the pedestrian who was hit Looks like the bus was DW58 (LJ04LFE) on the 137 according to LVF. This went off service at 18:19, close to the time the poor man was hit

Condolences go out to the pedestrian who was hit Looks like the bus was DW70 (WLT970) on the 137 according to LVF. This went off service at 18:21, close to the time the poor man was hit The 319 is the only Arriva route to use Mitcham Lane which it does so as to access Tooting Bec Road via Ambleside Avenue so it could not be DW70. Looking at LVF, it seems to be DW89 which was last seen on the 319 at 18:31.

This explains why I have seen the 319 and 249 diverting via Mitcham Eastfields level crossing. Condolences to the person/s affected.

DW89 is currently out on the 50 It was definitely a first gen DW involved as there is one of those covered things next to the front of the bus. Could most probably DW58, last seen at 18:19 on the 137. However i don't really know Streatham that well. Im scared this scenario might happen at East Croydon. So many stupid people run across the road when a bus or tram is nearby. One almost got hit by DW4 on the 466. A man almost got hit by DW115 whilst trying to cross the road at the start of the hill going up to East Croydon near Dingwall Road. A Girl nearly got hit by a tram leaving East Croydon, resulting in the tram having to honk, and last week, i read that a woman was hit by a Scania on the 64 coming into East Croydon Bus station. Fortunately she was conscious and OK. People really need to only cross when there are no vehicles coming or when the light turns Green! I still remember the time T54 mowed down that man in Park Street when he ran across the street. My sympathies go to the family of whom the man/woman was from(Does not say which gender in the article) and as i said before, condolences to the person . I also hope the Driver is ok too. Sometimes, these things do happen and its not the driver's fault

I know Streatham very well.

The other bus appears to be a B7TL that was in service on the 57.

The bus in question appears to be a B7TL that was in service on the 57. Well...57 drivers always tend to drive in a rush, so I guess that would add up.

Following your observation, Lewis Hamilton couldn't drive a road car. I think we should ALL show respect and not rush to judgement when there is a fatality.
