This is a poor decision from Matt Hancock, I don't think it should be something politicians should be doing, and he should focus on his constituents and the political situation in the country. Surely there's more important things than going to the jungle and after breaching COVID rules last year, who has respect for him now? It is a poor decision, I agree. Perhaps on the other hand we should send in the transport minister and Mayor and make them do all the horrid challenges until they agree to abandon the central and inner London bus cuts!!!!!!!!

One of the challenges should be riding a 123 bus in bumper to bumper traffic in Tottenham due to new LTNs within an impossible time frame or be forced to eat live maggots

I think Matt Hankock would be the first evicted due to the anti covid stuff
Finally someone else was voted last night other than him to do a trial, it was getting stupid and it seems like he did not care and to be honest seemed to have been getting a lot of stars. There are other questionable celebs in the jungle such as Boy George and Chris Moyles. But despite their track records people only seem to be fed junk they are seeing in the press.
Then we have the idiots complaining to OFCOM, I mean seriously. What kind of loser has the time to waste to complain. It is the same as when something goes viral (ie. Jonathan Ross, Jeremy Clarkson, Jade Goody etc. then people who have not even watched or seen it, goes and complain; or would go and watch it on the basis it went viral then complain.
A lot of these people complaining were rule breakers themselves. A French friend always said to me, people in England are the biggest hypocrites as they well tell you one thing then do another.

Never said he did a good job, but goading people into voting for him to do trials, keep piling pressure on him makes no sense. It now seems that the public have gone on their own pathetic agenda's with their voting for trials. Seems like it is pick on Boy George, Chris Moyles and Hankok, with Hankok only let off over past 2 days.

The most funniest and weirdest moment of last night was the conversation about farting on the camp fire.

And Jill is this year’s Queen of the Jungle! Thoroughly deserved. It’s been a fantastic series!

And Jill is this year’s Queen of the Jungle! Thoroughly deserved. It’s been a fantastic series! Really pleased Jill won! Would have been wrong for Matt to win IMO! I'm glad the general public weren't stupid enough to vote for Matt Hancock to win. The fact he even made it to the final was surprising, I thought the public would have voted Hancock out first or he would be one of the first to go. Sadly when the news came on, they chose to focus on the fact that Hancock came third than that Jill Scott had won. I know he may have been the most high profile campmate in there this year but I thought that was rather distasteful. Anyway, after the last two years of I'm a Celebrity being in Wales which didn't feel the same despite the circumstances, this series has been one of the best and well worth watching. Luckily next year there will be 2 series of I'm a Celeb (with the all star version in South Africa coming next year). It was also pleasing to see some aspects of the show had been refreshed, such as Kev's Deals on Wheels replacing the Outback Shack. The trials this year were also a lot harder this year which was good to see as I thought they were getting easier in recent years.

The trials this year were also a lot harder this year which was good to see as I thought they were getting easier in recent years. It wasn’t surprising to me, despite the media choosing to attack him and “celebrities” having their combined two brain cells fired up, it seems a lot of the public softened to him. Honestly it never really bothered me that he was there, I think a lot of people all over the place made a lot of mistakes during what was an unprecedented situation and frankly ITV knew exactly what they were doing bringing him on. Would they have done it at the height of the “I’m a Celeb” phenomenon I don’t think so but when you need a ratings boost to gather interest after two dull series in Wales who better than the man some of the public view as the enemy. But I maintain that if the public just ignored him, not put him in for trials or not voted him camp leader he would have gone earlier as people would have forgotten about him. Distasteful, maybe, but it should be directed at ITV, rather than someone doing a paid gig. I mean Boy George was there and he is an actual convicted criminal and the less said about Chris Moyles’s history the better.

Matt Hancock has now announced that he will not seek re-election to Parliament at the next General Election. In his letter to the Prime Minister he has said that he spoke with the Conservatives’ chief whip, Simon Hart, last week, and been told the whip would be restored in time, “but that is now not necessary” – meaning he will sit as an Independent until the next election. Make of all this what you will. www.theguardian.com/politics/2022/dec/07/matt-hancock-will-not-stand-conservatives-next-election

I don’t really watch the show anymore but the few snippets I have seen have been enough! Nella Rose must have been the most annoying contestant yet!
