There will be a documentary titled "The Night Bus" on Channel 4 next year (2015). It will follow the drivers, support staff and passengers on public transport in London, using the fixed-rig technology behind shows like Educating and The Fried Chicken Shop. The first bus getting the Channel 4 treatment is the N29, which runs from Enfield through Camden to Tottenham Court Road and Leicester Square. The vehicle will have 16 cameras fitted before Christmas, while further routes will be filmed early next year. To read more about this upcoming documentary, click on the link below! Makes mental note to avoid night buses with lots of cameras on board. Let's be honest this is just "band wagon jumping" after the success of the Route Masters Running London series which was a well produced, interesting series. The same has happened with docu-soaps based on train companies. The BBC showed that railways made decent telly and then Sky, Channel 5 and everyone else has to do their own version.
