Your links don't seem to want to play at this end - 'document unavailable', it says, though the links look fine. How odd. There is a massive list of links via this page. planningandbuildingcontrol.enfield.gov.uk/online-applications/applicationDetails.do?activeTab=documents&keyVal=O46J8IJN05300The two station parts of the Design and Access Statement are the two links above the "Furniture Palette and Strategy" entry. The third link refers to "Station Framework Travel Plan_P3" which has its own place in the list of links. If all that fails then I'm afraid you'll need to use reference number "16/01197/RE3" and access Enfield Council's planning portal. The link containing the list works fine - thanks.

A tweet and video from Network Rail about a new bridge being installed for the STAR tracks. Explains the presence of a crane near Ferry Lane Estate in recent weeks.

See this latest video from Geoff Marshall which covers Meridian Water station, shows a future track plan for the third track and also visits the site of the new replacement bridge south of T Hale.

Decent progress at the new Meridian Water station. All the lift towers, steps and overbridge are in place as are three platform structures including all the nosing stones in place. Can't be too long before they start putting in all the services and then finishes. The third track wasn't in view in the station area but I believe it's not too far away to the south.

Wasn't Meridian Water station simply a proposed renaming of Angel Road Station for the new development?

Wasn't Meridian Water station simply a proposed renaming of Angel Road Station for the new development? Yes kind of but the new station location is Infront of Angel Road superstores, but adding 2 extra platforms as well, and the current angel road station will soon close down due it being less used station in London

Wasn't Meridian Water station simply a proposed renaming of Angel Road Station for the new development? Not really, although it is close to Angel Road and replaces it, it is a new station in a different location and better placed for the new development. Angel Road will close as it is little-used, has very poor access and is not in a suitable location to be upgraded to serve the new development.

Another video from Network Rail - this time about 80% of the track having been laid for the extra line from Lea Bridge to Meridian Water. It's the station areas which are lacking track - presumably because of the construction work for new platforms. When I went on the 34 the other weekend the three platform faces at Meridian Water were all in place which was a bit of a surprise. I hadn't expected the main line platforms to be in place.

No great shock to anyone but formal application has been made to close Angel Road station when Meridian Water station opens. Opening date for the station, and I assume STAR, is 19 May 2019. www.londontravelwatch.org.uk/news/view?id=708Formal documents linked to from that London Travelwatch page.

Work continues apace on the STAR route. Noted today at Tottenham Hale
- a lot of work to the south of T Hale with substantial earthworks and supporting structures on the boundary with Ferry Lane Estate - drainage works right near Ferry Lane bridge. This means the track isn't in place here. - track and electrical masts in place from south of Ferry Lane estate - platform structure works substantially complete at T Hale - track and electrical masts including arms and hangers in place to the north of Tottenham Hale. - new lift towers in place at T Hale station - first elements of vertical structural work now visible at T Hale station (LUL works)
I was quite surprised at the progress with the electrification works but I guess they're aiming to get that done ASAP with station works and final track works to follow on at a slightly slower pace.

Based on info posted on District Dave the new pedestrian overbridge over the NR tracks at T Hale has been lifted into place over the weekend.
When I used the line last week the drainage and embankment works just south of T Hale are not too far from completion. That will allow the final bits of track and electrical wiring to be put in place. Much of the extra track from north of Lea Bridge to just by Ferry lane estate is now properly in place with the overhead wires also installed. I believe the same applies north of T Hale but I haven't checked.

Well that sort of kills off one rumour. If the DfT are sanctioning closure from May 2019 that MUST mean that the new station will be ready then. There have been rumours circulating that the STAR works would not be ready until Sep 2019 or later. Of course one station being ready doesn't instantly mean that the extra track and extra services will also be ready in May.
