Had a rather interesting journey this morning, due to the Bexleyheath line closure, I got a semi fast Victoria train via Woolwich from Dartford, which called only at Slade Green, Abbey Wood, Woolwich Arsenal, Blackheath then all stops to Denmark Hill where it runs fast to Victoria as normal anyway, it was odd as this skipped Charlton probably the first time since the 1990s any train has skipped there. There are also trains to and from Charing Cross and Cannon Street non stopping Charlton presumably to avoid over crowding. There have been complaints about RR buses leaving early and I suspect most people use normal buses instead especially the 89.

The 89 is probably the one bus that nearly parallels the Bexleyheath line, albeit with a change if you want Kidbrooke or Eltham, but it’s useful if going to Welling, Bexleyheath or Barnehurst. As far as I’m aware it’s only some of the Charing Cross ones that are skipping Charlton, the Cannon Street trains are calling there as normal Maybe because Charlton is too far away for it to serve as any alternative for those who normally use the Bexleyheath line, because Slade Green is being called at as it’s near Barnehurst, of course Woolwich Arsenal is no where near the Bexleyheath line but it is a major Station that it can’t be skipped

There are probably a few strange calling patterns during the closure to make the best of the capacity.

Charlton being skipped makes sense, it’s not an interchange like Woolwich Arsenal (or Abbey Wood eventually and that in itself is the nearest station to Thamesmead) it’s too far away from the Bexleyheath line to serve as a real alternative, and it’s main purpose is to serve the Busby Way shops and on Match days when Charlton are playing, I’m rather enjoying seeing extra trains on the NKL it gives me hope that one day the line will become 10tph, with a potential 4tph off peak via Lewisham! But the latter thing is pure fantasy

That looks terrible 😂. I know this is photoshopped but why do all new train livery look awful. SWR and EMR don't look good either. Only one that I really like at the moment is Transpennine and LNER. My opinion of course.

My opinion of course. I actually think that the old SWT livery and this mockup SE livery look yhe best for these trains

It's a photoshop job (you can tell, it's under overhead yet the class 707s are third-rail only units) and it probably won't be that shade or "flatness" in reality.

I'll reply to your post here unfortunately it wouldn't allow me to select post and then put it here. I've got no problem with the SWR livery in fact I think it looks really good.

Yes I know it's photo shopped I don't like the bhade of blue the person used. Has any of the 707s been transferred yet?
