It was at Blackheath but we’re on the move again now. Last week first train of the day went defective. Doors wouldn’t open. Over running engineering work at Ashford. Trespassers ( granted not SE trains fault ) . Tiring !! Some poor sod had a medical episode at Bromley South during Tuesday evenings rush hour and there was also a signal problem in the Ashford area as well as the over running engineering work you mentioned as well as the slippery rail problems at this time of the year, it never ends. In fairness a lot of these problems are out of Southeasterns control.

Every day brings new problems on this network. For the umpteenth time in several days I’m stuck on a train behind a defective one. Yup. Almost everyday there's signalling problems or some other kind of fresh hell around the Lewisham-New Cross area. I'm glad I decided not to take the trains this week. Signalling problems on the line at Shortlands aswell with the services terminating at Kent House and skipping stations (Most notably Sydenham Hill ) (Wonder how many schoolkids got on the train at Brixton expecting Sydenham Hill but getting whisked off to Penge )

I see on Twitter they're operating a normal service again today:
Some supportive comments from the public too:

Had to rely on the first train again today. Decided at last minute to drive and catch a night bus to work instead. Good job I did, broken freight train Crayford and the actual first train was cancelled due to someone vomiting on it. It started from Dartford instead.

Nothing will improve in the meantime then. Can’t fault their high speed services though. Other than they’re now over subscribed . But at least they are actually fast.

This is a booked call in the timetable at 0824, as the stopping 0819 Bromley S - Vic service skips Sydenham Hill Interesting quirk in the timetable, thanks This is likely to be either load-spreading (taking some of the pressure off the stopper); or speeding up the stopping service so more trains can be pushed through at the most crucial part of the morning peak.

There are currently no trains between Victoria and Lewisham and no southbound service between Elephant & Castle and Ravensbourne. Southbound Thameslink trains are diverted via Herne Hill, northbound are still operating normally, and Victoria to Gravesend trains are cancelled or diverted to Charing Cross. m.nationalrail.co.uk/pj/disruption/details/098F9197CBCE44BCA8B87AF719008F4C

Had a rather interesting journey this morning, due to the Bexleyheath line closure, I got a semi fast Victoria train via Woolwich from Dartford, which called only at Slade Green, Abbey Wood, Woolwich Arsenal, Blackheath then all stops to Denmark Hill where it runs fast to Victoria as normal anyway, it was odd as this skipped Charlton probably the first time since the 1990s any train has skipped there.
