A 427 with no side blinds. TUKs blind presentation has fallen off a very big cliff. Yeah I’ve been noticing this lately more than lately I noticed this 2-3 months now.

Not so much 'Blind Banditry' but 'Info Screen Banditry'! Ee244 has been doing a tour of Go-Ahead South London Garages (so far AL, MB and now C) but today on the 119 heading through West Wickham High Street the screens inside said '132 to North Greenwich'..... Attachments:

It used to be at BX on the 132. Didn't know it actually left BX - shame for me...

There are photos on The London FB of the bandit blinds on MHV2 and WHV 114 on the 262 and 473. It really is shabby unprofessional look.
I will repeat my reply here to what I said on that group. It's a shame there is no joined up thinking and working between companies to share resources that are not needed any longer! Stagecoach changed the blinds on the Streeddecks a few weeks before the 262 and 473 were lost and probably had a few spare sets that they could have loaned Go Ahead. Even WH probably had some spare from the ex route 97 Scanias! I know the companies are competitors but it would have saved the shambolic bandits we have at the moment.

Just seen the pics, absolutely appalling from Go-Ahead on both of those routes and even worse on the 473 where it does the double run at City Airport where buses in both directions stop at the same time, they already had the 262 & 473 for two months already so they should at least get a sufficient number of buses blinded for the route which they clearly haven't. What I don't understand is that Go-Ahead hasn't been heavily criticised by others for the horror show with blinds on the 262/473 since they took over the route, while Arriva got bashed left, right and centre on the SL2's first day by everyone for not being fully blinded which they least tried to put some effort by having the front number blinds and the blind situation on the SL2 was mostly sorted by the following week.

The SL2 situation kept going for weeks on end, there's still a banditised bus running around on the route now. Judging by the comments on umpteen groups, this appalling presentation from GAL hasn't gone unnoticed either. It's frankly ridiculous how they even removed blinds from an E that had 262 blinds in it, just for it to then get replaced with paper.

The company loosing the route don’t have to do anything with the blinds but I do agree they could have asked the operator to lease them temporarily. Overall I’m done with reporting these fault on here because I see them daily even LED blinds with major faults. HT14 I saw today with cardboard in the blind box as the number blind is ripped.

Maybe people aren’t observing the 262/473 as much, and also the majority of buses are blinded, the 473 is only using WVNs right now and most of the time, not to excuse the unacceptable showing. Everyone gets bashed, the SL2 had a ton of publicity hence the masses of complaints. Same with the 157/200, tons more complaints because the route takeover + huge fire brought a ton of attention towards AL and their blind issues as a result, when nobody particularly cared about the poor blind presentation which predates the 157/200 stuff by at least a year apart from locals or occasional observations beforehand.

Saw a 407 with a missing blind yesterday and a photo of an 289 without a blind. Should Abellio and Arriva be bought under the same strict control?
