Not sure I see the point of doing it but someone is asking me if they can add their Senior RailCard onto their 60+ Oyster. Is this possible and why would anyone want to do it.

No it is not possible, the only way is another standard oyster. The only reason they may want to do it is peak travel on the railway but then in the peaks you don't get discounts on oyster pay and go anyway as you don't meet the minimum fare so it is rather pointless.

Oyster 60+ is free on all TfL services, including London Overground which is technically a NR service during the peaks. This will be handy for Abellio Greater Anglia customers on metro services out of Liverpool Street which switch to LO (or TfL Rail to Shenfield) from May 31st who'll be able to use those trains in the morning peak.
