Well I dig the new design, at least the front is more resolved compared to the 1st gen model.

I think it looks great! The MCV B9TL was brilliant, this new B5TL version is even better. I really hope they make an appearance in London.

I prefer the headlights/indicator lights design on the original but this does look good.

The original IMO was terrible and looked like a cheap Omnicity DD which is quite hard to achieve. However, the new one looks amazingly good and I heard Metroline are to receive one - if so, excellent news. I like this so much, it nearly beats the MMC for me in terms of new deckers.

I'm looking forward to seeing this on the 297 soon if one's due for Metroline in the near future! I'd love to see a Voith version of the B5TL though The bus looks good. Like an updated Plaxton President

Like an updated Plaxton President On volvos website, only ZF is listed (Thank goodness) as imo apart from Euro 4 B9TLs & Euro 3 B7TLs I am not a fan of voith Volvos especially not euro 5 B9TLs.

I hope unlike MCV B9TLs, a few are ordered across London for the sake of more variety

Its has been brought to my attention that a few large UK operators are interested in the MCV Evoseti, including Go Ahead Group, First Group and our very own Comfort Delgro. First are due to receive their model in the next week, which will be allocated to Rotherham Depot upon inspection at Volvo's headquarters somewhere in the West Midlands.

The First one is in service and I have to say, their application of the nice new First livery looks horrible on the MCV - they painted the black areas white and it looks really awkward looking.

Just seen some photos on Flickr - I'll have to disagree with Vjaska here; I actually think the awesome First exterior colourwork (imagine me saying that ;D ) brings out the bodywork a lot better than the drab looking East Yorkshire livery. I think it'll look good in all red. As Go-Ahead and ComfortDelGro are rumored to be interested in this bus, it'll be great to see Metroline and GAL gaining a few. This is great news
