The previous thread has been locked so I've opened this one. If the Mods / Admins wish to merge this into the old thread and reopen it then that would be lovely. Anyway the reason for bringing it back to life is that the Mayor is being asked Questions about it next week. Seems the locals are getting restless with TfL's lack of response / tardiness. Joanne McCartney, the AM for the area, has posed the following questions. We should get written answers a week after the meeting - assuming TfL respond it time. The answers may cast some light on what is / is not happening!
Given most of the ideas were insane it's perhaps no surprise that TfL haven't responded! It's also worth noting that many months ago AM Victoria Borwick asked the Mayor a question which asked for reassurance that none of the Enfield proposals would be introduced at all given how bad they were. Seems like there is a split opinion about the value of the changes.
And sort of Enfield / Tottenham related is this question about an extra night bus (I actually think this is a fair enough question).
Enfield bus review (1)
Question No: 2015/1815
Joanne McCartney
The Enfield Transport Users Group (ETUG) have recently conducted a review of bus services in Enfield with the Local Authority and have raised concerns with me over the length of time TfL have taken to respond. The ETUG do not feel that their proposals were taken seriously once they received a response from TfL over a year later. Can TfL please liaise with the ETUG and local authority and discuss the review fully and look at the network as a whole in Enfield, including the changes that TfL are proposing in their night bus consultation?

Enfield Bus Routes

Question 2014/1701
Main question
Victoria Borwick
Enfield Council recently submitted wide-ranging amendments to bus routes throughout the borough to Transport for London. These proposals were written by a small team and with minimal consultation and many residents are very worried that some of these damaging suggestions could be approved. Will the Mayor reassure Enfield's residents that no changes will occur to any bus routes without proper consultation?
The Mayor
TfL is reviewing the suggestions put forward by Enfield Council. If any of the suggestions put forward are considered worthwhile for a service change then TfL will consult on those proposed changes in the usual way.

Enfield bus review (2)
Question No: 2015/1816
Joanne McCartney
Can you tell me why the response from TfL to the ETUG on the bus review took over a year? What action will you take to ensure this does not happen again? Can you provide me with a timeline of your discussions and when you propose to provide a full response?

Enfield bus review (3)
Question No: 2015/1817
Joanne McCartney
Enfield has experienced changes recently including the closure of Chase Farm Hospital Accident and Emergency Department and 5000 new homes are to be created at Meridian Water in Enfield. Have you taken these changes into account and how will you adapt the bus network accordingly?

24 hour bus service in White Hart Lane, Tottenham
Question No: 2015/1810
Joanne McCartney
A local resident has contacted me concerned at the lack of 24 hour bus services serving either along White Hart Lane or the Roundway or Great Cambridge Road, which means that residents coming back home late at night either have to walk from Lordship Lane, Tottenham High Road, Turnpike Lane or Wood Green. I have seen in the TfL consultation regarding the change to the night buses with the introduction of the night tube that there are proposals to make the W3 a 24 hour route on Friday and Saturdays. However, this will not benefit night or shift workers during the week who rely on night buses. Would you look into the resident's suggestion of making one of the current bus routes, namely W3, 144, 217, 231 or 444 a 24 hour service all week?
