First of all, I do appologise if there is already a thread for this sort of discussion. I had searched the boards before making this thread and didn't find anything.
I was looking at some of the NS sets earlier and wondering what routes could actually be on them bar the NS and RM routes, 5 seems to be the only obvious one and maybe the 62 at a push as its not far from NS. I was also wondering if the 78 is on the Blindsets of any of DXs 60reg Ts as despite the route moved to AE chances are it could still potentially be on some of DXs blinds.

I don't think the NS set would have many more routes on them as they already have 2 garages worth. Guessing you know the 5 is on there from when the route was shared with NS.

why dont TFL use LED desplay? I hope tfl never do go for LED displays. If you ask me they are necessary for London buses in the same way that London buses have to be red. They define London buses.

I agree with the blind part but not with the London buses have to be red - prefer it in the days of LBL where you had all sorts of liveries.

The all over red thing does kill it - I miss Metroline's blue skirt along with Arriva's Cow Horn, though my favourite livery was Stagecoach London I liked Armchair's 'Fake Arriva' orange cowhorn livery used on the 2002 reg Darts before Metroline took over As for the blinds, I was all for LED's, the best blinds I've seen are the ice white LED ones, but TfL love their Johnston font. The LED's do look blocky so perhaps Leon Daniels isn't so keen on them. Thankfully with trials of E-Paper taking place, we could see something more modern very soon. The thing about London blinds is they don't have any detail in the destination and more recently no via points. If the new 'E Paper' WOB blinds can show Via Points then that's an improvement. Operators may follow London's lead and keep the E-Paper blinds when the bus leaves London work, as it's less restrictive than the 1950's tech in use at the moment

I didn't mean 100% red, but 80% red or similar is what I meant.

On NS/RM WOB set Trident * 5 86 N86 103 174 175 247 248 252 287 294 296 365 372 496 498 DX have a mix of blinds in the T's, They did originally have 78 on them but there have now been I think 3 different sets made between them getting delivered and now with it varying between what buses have what set so 78 is no longer featured *It was like 2AM when I saw the blind change and I'd been up for about 20 hours so might not be 100% correct lol
