I've driven a Gemini, just not in service, I'm not type trained on the Volvo MMC and haven't driven one, haven't driven a dart yet in service either

I still really miss living in Plumstead, but things in life change sometimes........I imagine you'll have great fun over there, it's an interesting set of routes running from PD garage

That's all they did with me. The MMC have better transmission than the Gemini, and they don't feel like they are going to stall when they switch from electric to engine. They're lovely buses to drive. It's only the Dart and Enviro 200 that I've not driven in service. Used them both as ferry buses from PD Common though.

If the Volvo MMC is anything like a normal MMC mixed with the Volvo dash I'll be fine but might as well ask It's only the Dart and Enviro 200 that I've not driven in service. Used them both as ferry buses from PD Common though. E200's are the worst buses I've driven, they float about while driving along, terrible over any kind of bump or imperfection in the road, the Voith ones are terribly slow, handbrake is in an awkward position and the mirrors are pretty much useless, The MMC's on the other hand are lovely I've always wanted to drive a dart, I've only moved one in West Ham and that was it but that's not enough to get a feel for it

Darts are just like a TA from the cab, only with a higher ceiling and worse turning circle.

One thing that ours at RM have over the NS ones is the mirrors are bigger, more like the MMC ones, but on both sides. Once they get the emissions light on....oh God are they slow!!! Oh and of note, I'm off to West Ham hopefully for an interview to become Environmental Champion for RM!! 😂😂😂

Route learned the 177 on Tuesday. Despite the traffic being awful due to issues at Blackwall Tunnel and Woolwich Ferry due to Dartford Crossing being stuffed again, I quite enjoyed it. Got a week off after tomorrow's duty, then when I come back, my Dasweb is now solid 177

Kapow! On rota from X-Mas eve. 177. Not completely enamoured with it, but at least I know what I'm going to be doing weeks in advance now.

Have had it easier trying to plan stuff in and organise my own affairs. Luckily enough, I'm enjoying the 287 itself. You get to learn the route on a more intimate basis (traffic conditions/times, traffic light timings and passengers/customers). Love it!!!

Very early in the morning and late at night - good. All other times - Bad
