Second summer of works in the Charlie Brown Roundabout area. Last year it was resurfacing works this year bridge repairs. A406 Woodford works There's not a lot of information as to what is being repaired. However the works are taking place between Friday 28th August - Monday 31 August 2015 then 3-15 September 2015. First stage will involve closing the A406 Northbound slip road to the M11. It seems during the second stage of the works, that the road closures become more widespread leading to full shutdown of the A406 in this area. Anyone with more information please add-on, otherwise I will try to check back on the TfL page for updates. After these works there are conceptual plans to improve pedestrian movement around Charlie Brown Roundabout from 2018, so a bit of a way off. Phew. North East London Traffic impact map 3-15 September

Thanks for the heads up. I can wave goodbye to using the bus for those days then. The 123's service will resemble a dung heap. I'm surprised they're waiting until the schools are back to do this work but I guess doing it at the same time as the Vic Line blockade was a risk too far.

Just received an email reminder on the A406 Woodford Works. The first closure is from 22:00 Friday 28 August to 05:00 Monday 31 August on the M11 Northbound Slip road. I'd assume the affected bus routes would be the 123, W14, 179 & 549.
