Just been reading about it recently and along with a new Overground station being made there. Two bus routes will be connected there; one connecting Central London and another connecting Lewisham. I remember a few years ago when it was the Surrey Canal development and route 415 was earmarked to be extended there. I wonder what do two routes could be directed there. My guesses are; the 381 (for Central London) and the 225 (for Lewisham). What do you think? For more information, check the website: www.newbermondsey.com/transport

225 seems most logical, there is also the option to extend the 199 to New Bermondsey. Seeing as it is a New Development I would not be surprised if the 199 was extended to New Bermondsey as it has larger capacity, the 225 also an option.

For more information, check the website: www.newbermondsey.com/transportIt's not worth speculating too much because TfL go through umpteen iterations as to what travel patterns they want to serve and because bus demand can be relatively fluid what works in one scenario may not work months later. The 415 was previously mentioned but I thought the 225 had been discounted in favour of a brand new single deck route. I suspect it will go up in the air again depending on what route is coming up for retendering, whether the Overground station is built at Surrey Canal Road and what actual funding TfL get from the developer / local authority. I also think the proposed development at Convoys Wharf will also be a factor in shaping services in the area. The more time it takes then the less the money actually buys because contract costs go up and inflation eats away at whatever may have agreed years earlier. This Housing Zone document says a new station and two new bus routes are due for New Bermondsey. That aligns with the website. There's money for bus services, bus shelters and a Riverbus pier in the Convoys Wharf S106 agreement. Convoys Wharf S106 agreement

I always thought that it was going to be the 415 and 129 extended to the new East London Line station.

I remember when the 129 extension got postponed in 2010 due to no work being done on the yuppie flats at Convoys Wharf. It's finished now, so they could extend it to Peckham now. Anyway, Convoys Wharf is awful, more social cleansing and gentrification

The flats I think you are talking about are the ones in the New Capital Quay Estate which is just off Creek Road and located in Greenwich.
