I have noticed that the carriage colour of the Overground trains on the North London line are of a greyish white shade. Compared to those on the now acquired Chingford - Liverpool St line which are now being repainted but are plain white. Is there any reason for the different shades. Surely the ones on the North London line couldn't have aged in colour already.

Surely the ones on the North London line couldn't have aged in colour already. The trains on the NLL are their actual colour. The 315/7s of the newly acquired lines have simply had a vinyl placed on the train as I'd imagine this is a lot cheaper than an actual respray
