Has anyone been to battle in a gym yet? I'm too scared to as the people are so powerful already. I don't get how people have reached level 20 already! My strongest Pokémon right now is a Pidgeot, CP 530. I've been trying to catch other Pokémon with two stage evolutions but it's so hard! If you guys want a tip, the best thing to do is go on. Long bus ride and use an Incense. The amount of Pokémon that appear is amazing! I had a very fun journey home from Islington on Friday  Gonna go on another journey from Kingston today  P.S. rmz19 , I found a Dratini in Islington I'll be willing to trade for it! There is a spot outside work where a Dratini sometimes spawns so I might have to get there extra early tomorrow and wait for it to appear. There is also a massive tree to hide behind just incase any of my colleagues are wondering what the heck I'm doing just standing there...I expect them to understand  |

Was thinking of making a topic about this as I'm a fan of the Pokemon games in general (I regularly play Omega Ruby). As 'jd1292' mentioned, you have to walk away from the three starters at the beginning to get Pikachu or get lucky with an egg. So what's everyone's rarest Pokemon that they've caught so far? Mine is a Jynx which I caught on Brixton Hill lol. Alright I give up-what route was it on?  Could it be the latest incarnation of a Jeyland Jynx? Lol, I was walking rather than on a bus at the time. |

The servers have been playing up massively over the weekend so I've done very little but last night, I did manage to catch a Pidgeot in my front room though it's CP is a little underwhelming as I caught a Pidgey the other day with a CP that's very close by.

I was shown this game before it came out in the UK, as I grew up watching the Pokemon, I was intrigued, and I can see why its so popular. The Augmented reality use is amazing and you cannot think of a game that can use AR as well as this game does.
The game makers deserve every success.
Although, one negative - the media need to keep calm about this, I have had enough of the daily Pokemon Go related articles: 'X person finds dead person while playing', 'Y organisation gives out warning about dangers', 'Z person has phone stolen over Pokemon Go', 'A Institution has asked people not to play in their locality' etc.
Okay , we're not idiots, we are just grown people walking around sticking out our phones at random places and jumping up and down with excitement. We just look like idiots.

Though earlier this weekend I tried using AR in Pokemon Go, but AR's Garage Manager got upset with me wandering around parked buses and I almost fell in one of the pits |

Following what I've heard when i was watching This Morning, such as someone falling into a manhole whilst searching for Pokemon as well as other reasons, I'm steering clear of this game and sticking to Clash Royale instead! My brother on the other hand downloaded it and plays it like crazy when he's out. Another thing is it will ruin my iPhone's battery even more (it only lasts an hour and 30 minutes if I'm using it straight!!), as my brother says that the game really drains his battery out.

Yesterday saw me hatch my first egg once the servers began working - I got a Nidoran (M) which I'd already caught in the wild so wasn't that bothered. On the way home from work, I caught a 118 CP Squirtle by St. Matthews Church and then decided to walk along Rush Common on Brixton Hill to see what comes along. Ended up catching 3 Jynx's along there which were a 267 CP one, a 174 CP one and a 22 CP one - this confirms to me that the bottom of Brixton Hill is a hotspot for Jynx as all four I've seen and caught have been in that are. I also caught more Drowzee including a 130 CP one, a 99 CP one, a 74 CP one and a 72 CP one. Bellsprout & Magnemite also showed up on the radar for the first time but they never appeared - I really want a Bellsprout to get my favourite grass type - Victreebel  |
