I think the way they've implemented their borough wide scheme was far more sensible than every other borough by allowing the main roads to remain 30mph except for certain main roads within town centres. I wonder if the Green Lane issue has been sorted yet? Croydon were meant to strike a deal with Lambeth because Lambeth stupidly put a 20mph section on their tiny section of Green Lane which mean vehicles coming off the 30mph Streatham High Road go onto a 20mph road which is a tiny section before meeting the boundary with Croydon at Hemitage Lane and then back onto a 30mph road.

TfL owned roads like the A23 will continue to be 30mph though.
