Most probably took a wrong turn whilst running back light to Walford Garage!!! Watched tonight's episode and the driver had a heart attack and drove into a market while there was a protest, ending up hitting a bridge. So sad to see a young bus being wasted like this.

Hardly being wasted. It'll likely be repaired or converted and sold on

I look forward to Comadad and various Assembly Members making a guest appearance on the next episode to say all buses are dangerous, drivers are incompetent, robots should limit bus speeds and can a man with a red flag walk in front of every bus.

Cant expect much as its not real but the small explosion when it hits the bridge... yeah right.
Im assuming tomorrow the bridge will fall down which doesnt really happen with real bridge strikes

Im assuming tomorrow the bridge will fall down which doesnt really happen with real bridge strikes Wasn't there something in the press last year about a new set being built for HD television or something? " Alright luvvies, listen up. We've hit the bridge, can't have a train crash that mob up north have done that. We thought about a high jacking from City Airport and crash it on the Vic, but the carrot crunchers have already done a plane crash. So we've decided that a massive sink hole will appear in the square, everything and everyone will fall in, we'll fill it in ASAP, so we can build a new studio to start 'Strictly Come Baking Bargain Hunt." You're P45s are on the table." IF Only-but the alternative doesn't bear thinking about.

TA644 was actually involved in the incident, showed the roof code when they did an aerial shot of the scene. No wonder I saw two TA647's in the picture on the first post.

Could all those people seriously lift a 12 tonne double decker wedged under a bridge?

Could all those people seriously lift a 12 tonne double decker wedged under a bridge? Wasn't the front of the bus caved in significantly?

Yeah ive seen a video of a different angle of the crash and it appears the roof was modified beforehand to break at certain points I believe so as the roof on the alx400 body is deigned to shear off in one piece so there has to have been some modification to allow the front of it to crumple like that with the rest of the structure remaining in situ.
