Presume this is the unidentified bus for filming stated on the Sullivan fleetlist.

I'm surprised in all the years of the show there never appears to have been a regular character who's a bus driver, unless we're about to have one. I think there is a stop on the 155 called "Albert Square"

Do I see an 07-reg ALX400/Trident!? I think it's possible to have a 07 reg ALX400 Trident if it was, for example, built in late 2006 but kept in stock unregistered until 2007. I am open to correction as I don't know how long a new vehicle can theoratically exist for prior to being registered.

As far as I'm aware, there are no Tridents with ALX400 bodies beyond 56 reg plate - there are apparently a batch of ALX400 B7TL's that were registered by Dublin Bus in 2007 but none in the UK. I did a search in Google and it appears as I suspected that DU07LGG is a private plate

I think there is a stop on the 155 called "Albert Square" Should be. There IS another Albert Square, just off the Clapham Road between Stockwell and the Oval. A certain Roger Moore lived there when he was a child. I remember as a child in the 50's and 60's the streets were full of long distance rigid 8 lorries, as most of the houses were used for B&B. Can't imagine what they sell for now.

Will be interesting to see what happens as i saw an aerial photo of a bus wedged into the bridge on Eastenders but i cant understand how they will do it as buses never go through the market to where the bridge is.

Indeed, that's why I first thought it was a Tube crash at first as the Tube passes above the market over the same bridge

Judging by the fleetname, that's probably an ex-Metroline TA... Will be interesting to see what happens as i saw an aerial photo of a bus wedged into the bridge on Eastenders but i cant understand how they will do it as buses never go through the market to where the bridge is. Indeed, that's why I first thought it was a Tube crash at first as the Tube passes above the market over the same bridge I thought Coronation Street (unrealistically) did that with a tram?

TA647 was one of my favourites to drive! Bloody Eastenders. Always killing off the favourites. However they can restore it, as we have seen Dirty Den, Phil, Grant, Kathy, Sonya, Janine, Sharon all return from the dead/near death at one point* I did see the buses deblinded and decommissioned at W a while ago. *i don't watch the show, I am good friends with a soap addict who refuses to leave her TV when such shows are on. Every time she tells me a storyline, they have somehow restored some actor from the 90's to return to the show in a plea to boost ratings. My head often sits firmly in my hands as she explains how they have returned under seemingly impossible circumstances. They need to bring Well'ard back. That would make me watch again. That Dog was the best character Eastenders has ever seen.

My best 'human' EE character throughout was Mike Reid's Frank Butcher as he was naturally funny, even during some serious storyline where his comical timing was still well placed. There was one particular storyline where he and Pat went to Paris to visit daughter Diane to find out she was heavily pregnant and she didn't know who the father was out of the three men that were also dossing in the flat. The way Frank had reacted was headstrong serious but with a tiny dose of humour, especially with his facial expressions.
Frank: " I bet it was that lippy one...."
There was also the much more serious side of Frank such as the accidental death of an innocent whilst deliberately burning the car lot for insurance money, a scheme he conducted with Phil Mitchell. Although Eastenders has declined over the years from realistic 80s to 21st century pantomime it was still relatively eye-catching during the earlier era of Frank Butcher's time on screen.
My all time best female character was Susan Tully's Michelle Fowler, although for the show's first year or so i kept seeing her as rebellious Suzi from Grange Hill....the same way I kept seeing Tucker in Todd Carty's earlier portrayal as Mark Fowler. Susan Tully and Todd Carty were not too long out of Grange Hill and spinnoff Tucker's Luck respectively before debuting in EE. I understand the character Michelle has returned but played by a different actress, further evidence that half the Albert Square residence must be Time Lords from Gallifrey* as they appear to regenerate with a new face every few years. Ben Mitchell alone must be in his fourth incarnation.
Getting more on track with the topic i wonder if it will be the case that the bus hits the bridge in relation to a diversion where the driver may have misread instructions. There was an episode of Doctor Who** where the story centred on a London bus that whilst in a tunnel went through a space rift and ended up on another planet. The 1980's Bristol VR the production team used accidentally got its roof damaged during transit to Dubai and the story was altered to reflect the damage, said to be done during its venture through the alien vortex. As it goes its route number in the story was 200 although its destination was Victoria.
* - Doctor Who's home planet ** - 2009's Planet of the Dead from season 4's Easter special
