Not only have I seen a huge increase in graffiti on central line trains, but you know it’s really dire when TfL are sending trains out with graffiti cleaned from just the windows!! Are the soeed restrictions still in place? Can’t say I’ve noticed any go-slows on the central line lately tbh I saw one central line train last week and I was like wtf, it was reminding me of the 80's the whole carriage outside was plastered in graffiti even over the windows. With Mile End Station reminding me of the New York subway that train would further enhance the reminiscence

How comes only the East London side of the Central Line gets a helping hand like extra buses on the 150 and 20?

How comes only the East London side of the Central Line gets a helping hand like extra buses on the 150 and 20? Probably due to more rail alternatives on the west side compared to the east. There’s Elizabeth, District, Piccadilly, Metropolitan, Bakerloo and chiltern as alternatives.

The Central Line is running a full 'loop' service this weekend. Diamond Geezer explains it rather well (and tested it).

Trains via Hainault then straight back to Central London via Woodford Explained in DG's blog post. Trains from West Ruislip clockwise around the loop then back to Central London, Ealing Broadway anti-clockwise around the loop then straight back.

I wish I'd known I'd have headed over there to sample it.

If the Central Line are having trouble with its 1992 then how comes the Waterloo & City Line ain’t having trouble with its 1992 stock? Central line does more mileage. They go from the far West to Essex. The W&C only goes 5 minutes

The W&C only goes 5 minutes Maybe they should swap some units and anyone know the reason the W&C hasn't gone back to the pre COVID running on Saturdays or if it will even come back ? Guess it's not really needed , It's the only tfl mode that shows planned closure on weekends unlike the Woolwich ferry which shows good service even though there is no service 😡

Big closure this weekend Leytonstone to White City any ideas why ? Seems a long stretch surely Bethnal to White City would be more appropriate ? And no RR buses except Stratford to Leytonstone during the Night , if anything they should of had a few Extra N8's on the night tube and RR in the day and then on top of that no "Mildmay Line" on Sunday at Stratford either .

From how I read it on the TfL website, there are RR buses during the day between Stratford and Leytonstone as well as overnight. They probably expect passengers to use GE, Elizabeth line or Jubilee line at Stratford to continue their journey into Central London
