Worth noting its an informative consultation as opposed to gaining opinion. Similar to the one in the Barnes area. Changes already decided.

Having three routes terminating there is better than one, I'm sure it will be rather confusing from next week to have the B13 be the only route to avoid the Market Place

The only problem is that you have to go for route 229 or 269 if you live near the same bus stop! mmm
Also, I don't know why B14 will go to the library bus stop rather than the shopping center bus stop! stranger odd!

Not surprised about the B14 to be honest as it runs every 30 minutes, from my experience doing the 269 & B13 most people alight at the library with very few taking it to the last two stops. The 269 however I can see two buses at a time not uncommon would involve removing a lot or running time or increasing the stand time at Bromley North. Only enough space to stand 3 buses 1 269, B13, B14. Overall I’m not surprised about the 269 as it currently serves the Library stops.

Sadly, the stop for the 229 which criss-crosses the 269 and the B14 on its way to Queen Mary's hospital is now a 5 minute walk away. Let's face it, it's about saving money.

Yep, from my end to ends what I liked about bexleyheath is that you can get all the routes in one place. This one breaks that link completely

Swings and roundabouts I guess, the loss of a 229/269 common stop but the 269 keeps a common stop with the B14 and it'll keep short distance passengers to Crook Log off the B14. It will also reduce congestion at the Market Place stops and presumably allow the 422 to use the Friswell Place stand? The current arrangements for the 422 are far from ideal. Wouldn't it make more sense to move all three routes on the same day?

Stand in Woolwich Road opposite houses which probably doesn't go down well with residents and it's a walk for drivers to the toilet facilities, the 422 also has to do a loop via the Market Place to set down. In the evening the 422 seems to use Friswell Place stand as there's a bit more room then.

It would remove congestion from the stands but very little congestion at the stops would be removed as a result of removing two low frequency B routes (ignoring the 269 being moved as well).

Well that’s annoying. I like being able to choose between the 229, 269, 492 or B14 all from the Clock Tower stops to get home to Sidcup. Even more annoying when coming home from Bluewater and changing from the 96. Why do they have to change things just to inconvenience people? So annoying.
