I'm gonna predict with the changes of the routes: Alperton: idrk much about west london bus routes... Brent Cross: well, i'm guessing the night service of 102 extended to Brent Cross, Shopping Centre so it would be the same as the day route. Havering: The merge of 296/396, 396 withdrawn, 296 re-routed via King George Hopsital. Tooting: I'm guessing changes to maybe 333, idk it would be withdrawn or not but let's just see. Wanstead: hmmm, maybe something to do with 66 but not withdrawing it. Wembley: Same As Alperton Tooting is more likely the 315 to Springfield. I can't see anything changing with the 333 as even an extension to St George's would be near impossible due to stand space issues.

Wembley: Same As Alperton hopefully the 296 and 396 don’t get merged, would be inconvenient if the 296 got re-routed via King George Hospital, would be even more of a nightmare for it to navigate through the peak hours around the A12 and make the journey far longer as a result.

Wembley: Same As Alperton With regards to the 296 you would effectively leave the Rose Lane Estate folks without a bus service to Romford and Ilford. Making the folks that live on Billet Road walk to Eastern Avenue would be a stretch to then make them get the 66, that's creating another problem within itself especially as Eastern Avenue can run into its own problems with traffic.

In fairness the proposal is not to terminate the 296 at KGH as far as I can tell, but just to do a double run there to get rid of the 396.

Something about Alperton and Wembley dose inserted me as maybe extend or rerouting some routes like maybe like 83 182 and maybe extends 79 or 245 as the Alperton Sainsburys is full

Wembley: Same As Alperton Perhaps with Wanstead, withdrawing it between Leytonstone and Snaresbrook, and extending to Whipps Cross to ensure much more direct links between Wanstead and Whipps Cross. Either that or the 101 extended would be the most viable option, Extending the 357 to Wanstead would probably not be viable due to stand space at Wanstead and it wouldn't provide many new links from Whipps Cross

I wonder if the Alperton consultation involves the 83 being extended to Stonebridge Park.

The old 83 (like the old 25/266) must have been a monster of a route When there was heavy traffic it was - I remember very well the many times I would do the 83 on a Wednesday during the peak and it would take an age to pass through certain parts like Wembley & the A406

I wonder if the Alperton consultation involves the 83 being extended to Stonebridge Park. I personally think 79 is a better choice of route to extend to Stonebridge Park than the 83.

In fairness the proposal is not to terminate the 296 at KGH as far as I can tell, but just to do a double run there to get rid of the 396. to be fair, I think the 396 tender is due soon, so sending the 296 to KGH would just mean the 396 could be removed pretty easily. I've got a feeling the Havering plans won't be that inventive or even be that useful. As I said previously, there was a pretty pointless idea of swapping the 165/365 terminals at the southern end. Personally I really don't see the point of making a journey from Orchard Village (or whatever it's called this week) to Romford longer for the sake of providing a link between Rainham and Queens Hospital, only for Rainham to lose it's link to Hornchurch. Something a bit more useful would be to extend the 370 round the corner to actually terminate at Romford Market rather than by an office block with poor access to the Town Centre at Mercury Gardens Hopefully the Havering plans will be centred on providing better services to Beam Park and other areas that are seeing a huge amount of development. However, after the previous plans to cut services and send the 135 to Homerton and 205 to Parliament Hill fields, I don't hold much hope of anything sensible coming out
