To get a particular batch ready wonder what for? Presumably to get the 68's batch ready for the 211's move to RATP next week I'm beginning to wonder if it's actually the original 211 batch that will be leaving and that Walworth is the depot prepping them up. Then once the buses have gone they will get the 68 batch ones back from Battersea.

That is why they appeared with temp ids yesterday on LVF, the transfer next weekend should (hopefully) be seamless

I don't think they are, they're constantly out on the 3/68/N3. The 68's not seen a non LT working since it's GAL days. I think it may be an situation of Abellio possibly wanting to keep the LTs that are native to them, and getting rid of as many second hand LTs as soon as possible? Either way, some of the 68's original LTs will remain with Abellio, considering the 68's TVR is higher than the 211s. Bit of a silly idea, as later in the year RATP send some to Abellio (routes 27 and 267) and if they are poor, RATP could swap their fleet around and send them all back, along with their worst ones. It has nothing to do with them being poor as you have put it.

Could Abellio snatch the 282 and 482 from Metroline? Well anything is possible, although I hope RAPT AV win the 482.

Could Abellio snatch the 282 and 482 from Metroline? I think Abellio are in with a good chance. They're very good at undercutting their competitiors and the new GW garage gives them room to accomodate both routes. That being said Metroline won't go down without a fight nor will RATP so we'll see

It would have been interesting to know who was actually the lowest bidder I'm guessing Abellio.

Looking at the result, TfL probably deicded because the lowest bid was only a litte cheaper it was wortwhile sticking with GAL who have provided a sufficient service. I would guess the highest bidder was Stagecoach
