I have worked out that in order to replace all the SELs currently at PA, Metroline would need 27 VMHs, this is because: Route 90 is allocated 5 VWs. Route 297 is allocated 3 VWs. Unless the VWs are also expected to move? I'm not sure the 611 would need a VMH and could use a VW instead. Given that the 297 is now converting, I'd imagine it's a full conversion for that route and then maybe a partial conversion for the 90 with the 90 being allocated the remaining VW's - only a guess though.

Ah 611 wasn’t included in that total, completely forgot about it.

Your original total was correct though even when including the 611, it's just I can see them (again I'm guessing) moving a VW onto the 611 instead of sending a VMH over for that route. There are currently 27 SEL's allocated between the 90, 297 & 611

Tommy said the VMHs are for the 31 and 90 in a Facebook post.

Tommy said the VMHs are for the 31 and 90 in a Facebook post. Looks like the VW's from the 31 will now be used on the 297 and that will replace all the SEL's.

Tommy said the VMHs are for the 31 and 90 in a Facebook post. I knew that was going to happen. So I guess that the 134’s VMHs will be going to PA for the 90 and 31.

I'll be disappointed if the 297 does end up with VWs. I think the 31 does deserve hybrids but VMHs on the 297 excite me. Hopefully PA are flexible with their allocations so the 297 sees a mix of VWs, VWHs, and VMHs

I have worked out that in order to replace all the SELs currently at PA, Metroline would need 27 VMHs, this is because: Route 90 is allocated 5 VWs. Route 297 is allocated 3 VWs. Unless the VWs are also expected to move? I could see a few of the PA VWs moving to the 81 to top up the 12reg ex-207 batch. It seems the 31 and 90 will both receive a full allocation of VMHs. The 31's VWs would then likely move to the 297 to replace the remaining SELs, but would need 1 additional VW to the 31's examples for the PVR difference, plus another for the 611. So based on the allocations you mention, my guess is that the 3 VWs allocated to the 297 will stay at PA for the 297/611, with the VWs allocated to the 90 moving to the 81.

Hopefully PA are flexible with their allocations so the 297 sees a mix of VWs, VWHs, and VMHs It'll probably still receive VMH workings, like at EW where the 32 sees a few VMH working per day, like today how there are 4 on the route. I can see it being a similar situation with the 297, with VW workings again happening on the 31 and 90 each day, a bit like the 113 and its TEH workings at EW.

Noticed that HD are now displaying their running numbers on A4 cards in the windscreen instead of plates

The 640 still ran yesterday and today even though the last day of term for students was last Friday. Does it still run if there’s a staff training day at schools?

Will the Lampton (SG) garage just be an Outstation with the 81s VWs being stored there or a fully operational garage?
