12th OME has now entered service, that’s one each day the past 3 days. Meanwhile there still are only 3/4 being used per day which isn’t great. Any VMHs to PA? Nope and can't see there being any until they get all 12 in service and running properly, as has been stated previously the OMEs are only a small portion of the allocation at the minute (2-5 a day) and they are developing faults/breaking down left right and center. The buses do not seem to be able to do a full day, consecutively.

Good to see Optare rivalling ADL BYD in terms of reliability 😂

Further info regarding the 98's BYDs withdrawal via LOTs, "Metroline’s BYD1471-75 were withdrawn as the TfL-sponsored trial has now ended" Kinda regret never riding one now! Your not missing much TBH although it was weird being on a double decker where the rear seats are further forward than normal.

It’s came up again on LBR.
Route 6 - “New timetable to reduce reliability. PVR changed to 23.”
I seriously don’t understand this.

I only managed to travel on one of them it's a shame that they are gone now. If I had known they was going to go I would've travelled on more.

Basically saying buses have been taken out of PVR to save money ... So reason for change is to reduce cost ... But this invariably leads to reduced reliability. It is the opinion of the website owner.

Why is Chalk farm Morrisons on the blind for the new DEMs when the Morrisons is going to close down? Should have kept it has Chalk Farm imo.

Because the sets have already been done when 393s DLEs came. The sets were moved then to the older DEMs and now to the newer ones as they were delivered unblinded.

I've also just found there will still be a Morrions there albeit on a much smaller scale.

I am sad to see the BYDs go, they were the first double deck electric buses and were surprisingly good.
It seems strange not to extend the trial to permanent running. The buses exist, the charging infrastructure exists at AC, what else are they going with it all. Given all the comments about reducing pollution how on earth can it be right to terminate 5 of your greenest buses and replacing them with higher polluting buses.

It sounds counter intuitive but a reduction in running time is not necessarily a bad thing from a passenger perspective provided the EWT remains at or above the minimum standard.

I wonder what will happen to the charging points at AC asome newer electrics similar to the BDEs?
