Was driving the 1 today and the number of people waiting at Aldwych for buses that had been pulled away from the area was honestly ridiculous. It's bad enough that the only publicity TfL bothers with is posters to look online but even the information there wasn't all up to date. Which buses were people waiting for? 15, 26, 91, 176

They just really need to push a redacted version of NMCC out for real time info. Doesn’t matter if it’s just plain html text, it’d be better than nothing.

As a regular, almost daily user of the 213 I’d say the current frequency matches the demand perfectly. There could stand to be an additional AM peak journey from North Cheam to Kingston at around 8am, possibly worked from the 93, but that is a different argument entirely. The problem is the Worcester Park to Fountain Roundabout stretch, consistent traffic really delays the route and ultimately ruins punctuality.

This morning I had an Overcautious Driver on a route which is fairly padded out ,Traffic has been light over last few weeks in the mornings in particular but they were over anticipating traffic lights , stopping at bus stops no one was at or wanted and waiting , stopping the bus when practically full to take more passengers and dawdling at about 25mph on 30mph stretches , in the end we got overtaken by 2 'ontime' buses we were about 14 minutes late when I got off half way and the bus ended up at the terminus 20 minutes late according to bus times.org so I'm assuming another bus overtook this one !
In this situation will the bus fall back and run to the bus that should be behinds schedule or will the driver get a turn and do drivers get reprimanded if constantly late with no real reason ?

I personally would stick a report in if the driver couldn't give a valid reason for being significantly late when nobody else is, especially if two buses caught up and went around them. Generally speaking you don't want to humour or encourage people like that by curtailing them unless you absolutely have to. Let them run regulate their departures at the end.

Bit Extreme if the bus was at a Bus Stop ? Surely a warning would suffice , but if Driving fairs fair .

Some pictures of 8004 SK24XRE, one of the first batch of the brand new E400EV. These look INCREDIBLE. God I hope we get some of these in London and Manchester

God I hope we get some of these in London and Manchester 80004 is the first ADL Enviro400 EV to be used in passenger service in the UK. It was used on Oxford-Kidlington routes 2/2A on Friday 19th April and on Oxford-Blackbird Leys route 1 on Wednesday 24th April. I agree they look incredible on the outside although the Stagecoach corporate interior is a bit meh.

Not totally bus related but just gone past Shirley roundabouts and there and signs for M25 diversion! Anyone know when this is and why they will bring the diversion all the way through Shirley?
