I did say finding out that some drivers intentionally drive slowly to get a turn would make me paranoid, I remember one or two drivers in my day that were predictively the same. Even if you overtook them and handled the loads ahead they would still be creeping behind you with a somewhat empty bus....this action referred to as punching*. On one occasion on the 295 my leader left Clapham Junction one minute before I was due to go out, so I did what I considered then the unthinkable and 'purposely' punched him all the way to Shepherd's Bush Green where I then overtook him outside that station after serving it. Then when I got to Ladbroke Grove I was asked to depart early which I was happy to do as I was due for a meal relief back at Clapham Junction. It appears that my leader got a turn at Latimer Road but that still didn't stop me from catching up with him at Wandsworth Bridge Road towards Clapham Junction. I guess some drivers are not happy with one turn and are content with gaining another one. I don't usually punch another driver but this one was known to mess up the route because of his unnecessarily slow driving... to the point that even controllers weren't really happy with him. Even if he had a good bus and we had a sluggish one we were still able to overtake those two particular drivers. * - for the benefit of those that may have heard the term but not knowing what it means

A 132 crashed into a lamp post in North Greenwich this afternoon. There were no pasengers on board and the driver was treated for minor injuries.

Returning to the conversation about 436's temporary stand, it seems that the first poster is correct. It now terminates at Nine Elms, even if the blinds do not say so. As the Nine Elms stand is closed, they stand on Nine Elms Lane itself, before the riverlight Quay stop.

As the Nine Elms stand is closed, they stand on Nine Elms Lane itself, before the riverlight Quay stop. I saw that on Saturday evening - that goes right against the information that I posted up from TfL's site which is they terminate at the Cats & Dogs home and then run dead to stand on Silverthorne Road.

Anyways, I'm busy catching up on all the info I've missed in the past week, so don't mind my random likes from posts from yesteryear!!

And here is how the Swedish promote their bus system to encourage people to use it. I think it's rather clever.

Thanks Dillon95 and T.R.. What bugged me most was that I couldn't do a final N13 journey end-to-end; ridden it but roughly only 2/3 of the way most times. Lool, my only worry on my hospital bed!! Yeah, I'm a bit bummed that I'm out of work for a fortnight or 2, and I need to rest up so as to aid the healing process; but having been gone for a week there's so much to catch up on here!! So in essence, thanks for all the reading material which I am enjoying whilst sickly in bed lool

I think having to have smoothies instead of food is what I'd be most annoyed about π³

I refuse to have soup, that is the epitome of sick food and it's simply not a proper meal!!

Sympathies over lool, but thanks for the concern guys! Back to business though; and today's topic is spider maps. I observed in late October the new night bus spider maps go up (1st place I viewed it was Canning Town bus station). The east London quadrant, which was back-dated to August 19th 2016 (any Night Tube users remember the date? ); you would think that the poster will be accurate despite the wait but noooo! The 2 main faux-pas for NE night bus quadrant maps lie in routes 277 and 108; it states the former still goes to Leamouth and the latter going to Stratford instead of Stratford International. The problem I have with TfL's incompetence is that they clearly wished to launch the August 2016 map as planned; but held onto it in the hopes for giving an updated map in October (post 108 changes) and here we are in April and it's still unchanged!! Obviously it's great for the maps to show the weekend night bus routes but I prefer 100% accuracy and nothing else!
