Everyone chill! Lol
Two sides of the coin... obviously people make errors and it’s important to bear this in mind when people do silly things but it depends upon the context doesn’t it. Did is right that partially sighted people may be the victims of mistaking an OOS bus for a service one but on the other end of the spectrum in my job I have people try to open my train doors when I’ve not only got ‘not in service’ emblazoned all over it but the lights off too.
Although there are many reasons for people making mistakes, we cannot discount the fact that some people really are just dumb

OK re-read ... you saying Londoners would be confused by such arrangements ... which is the same as saying you reckon they are too stupid to be able to grasp the principal ... or what else are you saying would induce such confusion, if it is not being able to grasp a few simple facts. I said they would expect to use oysters on them, it doesn't mean they are stupid. Seems to be you that is having difficulty grasping things! Really ... OK Sid ..yeah that is what you were saying ... I am assuming you would not want the U18 oyster cards accepted 😂😊

Were you not the one the other week saying Londoners would be incapable of grasping a commercial Xmas day service? Go back and read it! Oh the irony in this - pot, kettle comes to mind here.

Happy new year to all of you guys and girls, let's hope next year's a good one for the London Bus Network.
On a side note today I ran the 127 end to end witch means I've done all Croydon and Purely bus routes, next year I'm focusing on Bromley, Orpington and Elephant & castle, hopefully have all them routes done by 2019 🤞

A great New Years present for me is the frequency reduction on the 281. How dare they on one of the few surburban routes that actually sees decent loadings all day long. That's what Labour does, spend money on things campaigned on in an election that seem useful at first, then say 'aw rats there isn't any money left for anything else' then quietly cover it up, while under the Tories/Lib Dems (basically anyone else) it would be the media slamming it down for cuts. I want the Livingstone days back...dare I say the golden years for London Buses... Happy New Year

You are aware Ken Livingstone was a labour mayor right?

Happy New Year Don't worry you'll get them - by 2020 TfL will be running the network mileage it ran in 2004 as the Mayor is turning the clock back 16 years.

Or maybe partiality sighted? Is there really much point in these posting seeking to portray people as idiots by people who presumably never make mistakes themselves? Sid chill....I wasn't portraying people as idiots as you bluntly put it, I was looking at this situation rationally and merely stating the possibility within this scenario. As for my last point, although it was made in jest, realistically if one's judgement is so impaired then it's obviously unsurprising. I wouldn't even bother with Sid, he is just always playing devils advocate on the forum.

It's called looking at both sides of any argument, some people on here seem unable to do that or is everyone supposed to meekly agree?
