From 25th June 2011, Go Coach will be operating Route 70 on Saturdays between Borough Green and Lunsford Park, i suppose using the spare DLD that runs the 412 on School Days.

According to the latest LSP bulletin Route 421 is being withdrawn in October, not sure if this means the full route or just the section from Swanley to Dartford but Apparently the service is being reorgainsed by Kent County Council, but theres no information from Kent CC yet.

Go Coach are no longer getting the ex Abellio trident and are getting 2 ex Dublin Olympians instead which i believe will be older than S869 HCG was told the regs but cannot remember.
I know KCC have removed the funding for the 401 and probably the 421 and Go Coach will operate the 401 commercially not sure about the 421. Go Coach are going to give the 52 plated dart back to KCC and P179 LKL will need to be painted out of the County Links livery but for the time being it will have its County Links branding pulled off.
[EDIT] The other DLD still isnt ready for service but is hoped to be soon. P179 LKL a while ago got a smashed drivers cab window resulting in the spare uncomplete DLD being robber of its window and still doesnt have one today but progress will resume imminently

Also KCC waisted all that money relaunching both 401 and 421 last year, only to withdraw funding a year after (apart from the Sunday 401 which is still being funded according to the timetable). If im correct, as the contract is legally binding, so for KCC would have to pay Go-Coach some money to break it.

On Go-Coach's website it says the Sevenoaks-Weald section of the 421 is being withdrawn in September- maybe this is what the LSP bulletin is referring to? www.go-coach.co.uk/routes.htmlI think I remember seeing on their Facebook page that the 402 will be re-diverted back to serve Weald to compensate. They really didn't give that a chance

According to Arriva's website, they currently run the 421 Does Go Coach start operating routes from beginning of October as that's when the 429 begins running.

They do currently run the 421 as they created the route but KCC took it off them and tendered it. Something like that. Vjaska does the Go Coach version have the same routing as Arriva's?

Go coach diverted the 421 via Swanley station improving connections.
Their are plenty of commercial opportunities in North Kent. Places like Dartford, Gravesend, Swanley etc are really just like outer London , so if you get the connections and fares right you could get decent loadings.
What is really needed is a summer sunday service through eynsford , and a bus linking ebbs fleet international station with the villages around swanley , Sutton at hone, darenth and long field.
